The Barefoot Law team practices criminal law in Grey, Bruce, Huron and Simcoe Counties. We act as Agents for the Public Prosecution Service in Grey Bruce. As Drug Prosecutors, we cannot represent people who have outstanding drug charges.
Our Criminal Defence practice varies as we represent people charged with various different offences under the Criminal Code of Canada, Youth Criminal Justice Act, and the Highway Traffic Act. We have clients who have been charged with impaired driving, dangerous driving, careless driving, domestic assault, simple assault, assault cause bodily harm, aggravated assault, manslaughter, attempted murder, criminal harassment, break and enter, robbery, theft, possession of stolen property, fraud, fail to comply with release order, and fail to comply with probation.
We assist Defence clients with the following:
- Bail Hearings, Bail Variations, and Bail Reviews; - Guilty Pleas; - Sentencing; - Preliminary Hearings; - Trials; - Appeals; - Gladue Court; and - Mental Health Court.
We accept private retainers and Legal Aid certificates.
