About:
Elizabeth is a compassionate and fearless advocate for her clients. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Queen’s University in 2002 and her law degree from the University of Manitoba in 2007. She was called to the bar in 2008 after articling at a firm in Owen Sound once known as Kirby Robinson Treslan and Conlan (where she worked under the mentorship of Clayton J. Conlan, now a Superior Court Judge). She remained at the firm which aligned with Brian Barrie in 2012 to become the Alliance Lawyers until 2014, when she struck out on her own.
Elizabeth is a member of the Grey County Law Association. She is the former President and Vice-President of the Grey County Law Association which she remains involved with and on the Board of Directors. She has been (and remains) a member of the Criminal Lawyers’ Association. She previously served on the Women's Committee of the CLA and is the current representative for Grey Bruce with the CLA. She is also a member of the Bruce County Law Association and the Ontario Bar Association.

Michaela is a dedicated and approachable criminal defence lawyer who joined Barefoot Law in 2021 after successfully running her own practice in Port Elgin. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto in 2012 and went on to complete her Juris Doctor at Western Law in 2019.
Since relocating to the Grey-Bruce region, Michaela has made herself at home in the vibrant community, enjoying both the snowy winters and sunny summers in her beach town. Outside of her legal practice, Michaela loves staying active, whether it's on the hockey rink, playing softball, enjoying a board game, or exploring local restaurants.
Michaela is a proud member of the Criminal Lawyers' Association, Bruce County Law Association, Grey County Law Association, and Women in Canadian Criminal Defence. Additionally, she enjoys spending time volunteering with the following organizations: Coldest Night of the Year – 2024, 2025; Grey-Bruce Pride – 2023, 2024, 2025; Summerfolk (Construction/Set Up) – 2025; Habitat for Humanity (London) – 2018-2019.

About:
Madi Roblot is a charismatic and driven member of the team at Barefoot Law. Madi completed her Bachelor’s degree (honours) in Political Science, minoring in Legal Studies, at Nipissing University prior to her acceptance to the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law. She graduated in June 2024 and was called to the Ontario Bar in March 2025.
Madi enjoys complex problem solving and is always looking to learn. Her positive attitude and passion for access to justice make Madi an asset to the office. Madi strives to be approachable and prides herself in her ability to explain complex legal issues in a more digestible way.
When she isn’t working, Madi can usually be found spending time with her cat or browsing the aisles of any home décor store. She loves listening to podcasts and diving into the latest romance novel.
Madi is a member of the Criminal Lawyers Association and is involved in the legal community in both Grey and Bruce Counties. Additionally, she enjoys spending time volunteering with the Blue Mountain Public Library.

Grace is an experienced and dedicated member of our team as a licensed paralegal, who has been licensed with the Law Society of Ontario since 2022. Grace earned her paralegal diploma from Sheridan College. Primarily focused on federal prosecutions for Bruce County, Grace regularly deals with Police, counsel, and accused individuals directly and ensures that files coming into the office get the attention they deserve.
Grace is well-organized and is always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needs it. She is passionate and diligent with her work, ensuring that everyone she interacts with is treated with respect. Her ability to problem solve and her experience with PPSC matters makes her an asset to our team, often the first-person people turn to in times of crisis.
Outside of the office, Grace enjoys spending time on the farm with her dogs and horses and reading the latest trending books. More recently, Grace has found a new passion for golf.

Amber Vanderkaden is a licenced paralegal in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario since 2023. She holds a Bachelors Degree from Western University, where she graduated with an Honours Double Major in Criminology and Psychology. After university, Amber went on to complete the Fast-Track Paralegal Program at Fanshawe College where she also graduated with Honours.
With a strong academic background and a dedication to excellence, Amber brings a detail-oriented and professional approach to every file. She excels in fast-paced legal environments and is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and service.
Outside of work, Amber enjoys staying active, traveling, and spending time with her dog Bentley.

Haley Andersen is a dedicated and detail-oriented licensed paralegal with the Law Society of Ontario since April 2025. She holds a Law Clerk Diploma and a Paralegal Certificate from Georgian College, graduating with honours.
With a strong academic foundation, Haley excels in drafting legal documents and client communication. Her extensive background in customer service allows her to build strong client relationships and make complex legal matters more approachable. She thrives in fast-paced environments, balancing professionalism with a warm, personable approach.
Additionally, Haley is a member of the Ontario Paralegals Association. Outside of work, Haley enjoys music, travel, and trying new food. Her positive energy and professionalism make her a valuable asset to our team.

Nancy Fritch is a dedicated Criminal Defence Law Clerk. She graduated with Honours from Georgian College, holding a Police Foundations (2009) and Law Clerk Diploma (2018). She is passionate about the Justice System, and this reflects in her work.
She has worked as a Criminal Defence Law Clerk since 2018 for two exceptional law firms and has returned to Barefoot Law to provide her expertise to the team. Nancy is knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and hardworking. With a passion to help others, she provides a professional and safe atmosphere for clients and assists with running an efficient office for the team at Barefoot Law.
Outside of work, Nancy enjoys spending time with her family, playing sports, and reading.
