Elizabeth C. Barefoot

Elizabeth is a compassionate and fearless advocate for her clients. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts  from Queen’s University in 2002 and her law degree from the University of Manitoba in 2007. She was called to the bar in 2008 after articling at a firm in Owen Sound once known as Kirby Robinson Treslan and Conlan (where she worked under the mentorship of Clayton J. Conlan, now a Superior Court Judge).  She remained at the firm which aligned with Brian Barrie in 2012 to become the Alliance Lawyers until 2014, when she struck out on her own.

Elizabeth is the current President of the Grey County Law Association.  She is a member of the Criminal Lawyers’ Association, Grey County Law Association, and Bruce County Law Association and previously served on the Women's Committee of the Criminal Lawyers' Association.

Michaela is a friendly and passionate criminal defence lawyer who joined Barefoot Law in 2021 after running her own practice in Port Elgin. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto in 2012 and her Juris Doctor from Western Law in 2019. 

Since settling in Grey-Bruce, Michaela has embraced the snowy winters and sunny summers in her beach town. When she’s not in the office, you can find Michaela playing hockey or softball, dabbing bingo cards, or trying out a new restaurant.

Michaela is a member of the Criminal Lawyers' Association, Bruce County Law Association, and Grey County Law Association.

Grace Marshall

Paralegal

Grace is an approachable and dedicated paralegal who joined Barefoot Law in 2021. She received her Paralegal Diploma from Sheridan College in 2021.
